How it Works
Our program runs bi-semesterly from September to June. The Village (both parents and students) gathers once a week from 9:00 am to 1 pm to participate in enrichment classes, parent support groups, and field trips. Classes are grouped by grade level (K-12) for age-appropriate activities. They are both student and parent-led unless a teacher has been hired to do a class. Each month’s learning objectives are guided by a monthly theme and core value.
Parents are asked to attend co-op with their children each week. Each parent rotates teaching classes and is asked to volunteer at least one hour a month by participating on a Kulan committee.
